Toro
The professional way to irrigate tennis courts. Automatic irrigation system for clay tennis courts
If you or your staff still use hoses or sprinklers to irrigate your tennis courts, you are certainly aware of how demanding and time consuming these methods are! Apart from the cost of the labour, these methods of irrigation reduce the time available for playing and often waste a lot of water, especially if hoses or sprinklers are not moved regularly. Such irrigation also results in an uneven distribution across the court giving a patchy, dirty playing surface which does not satisfy anyone. Need we say more?
Toro’s automatic irrigation system eliminates all these problems! Once a Toro system is installed, it works automatically, following a 14-day irrigation cycle. Furthermore, the irrigation programme can be adjusted to irrigate only during the night. In this way play can commence soon after sunrise. This also releases staff from the job of irrigation so they can take on other, more productive tasks.
Should rain clouds blow up, a simple press-button switch allows the irrigation programme to be turned off until the weather improves and irrigation needs to be started again. If the weather is very warm and dry the same button allows for extra irrigation as necessary.
